angry haiku

chemotherapy-
charging people to die slow-
fuck you and money

-2-

let me have my peace,
god finds me in sleepy places.

Doctors, go away.

-3-

i’ll take death in months
with dignity and peace, love-

flush your chemicals

-4-

i stood for nothing
but my death will ring out loud-

stand up and live free!20121117_192536

About Ben Dooling

I began this blog shortly after being diagnosed with terminal rectal cancer. It has since begotten a short book of poems, most of the poems came from here. Cancer has taught me more than it has taken. It has shown me my gifts, and what an examined life is.
